Accommodations

The Bulkley River Lodge is located on a remote section of one of the worlds finest Steelhead fly fishing systems, the Bulkley River. The custom built log resort consists of a main lodge with a dining room where healthy gourmet meals are served, a living room with a rock fireplace, fly tying bench, and complimentary bar. There are four comfortable log guest cabins, each with there own washrooms and showers. Two guests sleep in each cabin making the maximum eight fly fishers per week. The lodge is equipped with four classic style drift boats, rafts and four custom built jet boats.

Prime time is August 25th to Nov 30th

7 Day Package
7 nights accommodation at the Bulkley River Lodge 7 days of guided Steelhead fishing using drift and/or jet boats (2 guests per guide) - and - Deluxe meals prepared by our professional chef Airport transfers to and from the Smithers airport Premium spirits and non-alcoholic beverages including wine with dinner Fishing licence
$4,995 US + 5.0% G.S.T. pp ($749.25 per day)

Not included in your trip:
Gratuities and air transportation to and from Smithers, B.C.

Payment:
A deposit of 50% of trip total is due on or before April 15 to secure your reservation. This deposit is non- refundable and the balance is due July 15.

Our Steelhead Fly-fisher's daily itinerary:

Begin with an early morning wake-up by way of a friendly knock on your cabin door. Guests congregate in the main lodge to enjoy their beverage of choice and friendly conversation around the fireplace where guides are likely to be tying flies and discussing the days plan. Sit down to a home-cooked Bulkley River Lodge classic breakfast. Then it's off to the river for a day of Steelhead fly fishing.
Each group (1 guide & 2 guests) will fish a 6 to 9 mile section of the river with lunch being served on the river bank or in the boat while drifting.
At the end of the fishing day, it's back to the lodge for a shower and cocktails & appetizers prior to a healthy Bulkley River Lodge dinner.
Have a relaxing evening, sleep and repeat!

Travel Arrangements:
There are several flights daily from Vancouver, B.C. to Smithers airport. Our guests arrive the night before their trip and usually stay at the Storks Nest. To make reservations at the hotel please call 250-847-3831. The Storks Nest also provides a complimentary shuttle from the airport.

Please call the Bulkley River Lodge on the evening of your arrival to review your pick- up time and fishing arrangements for the following morning. The telephone number at the Lodge is 250-877-9518. We will shuttle you back to the airport on the morning of your departure.
